Little Texas to hold concert at Rockingham Speedway on April 14

Little Texas, best known for their hits “God Blessed Texas”, “What Might Have Been” and “Kick A Little”, will be rocking The Rock on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in advance of the Good Sam Club Roadside Assistance Carolina 200 presented by Cheerwine NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race on April 15.

The Chris Lane Band will be opening for Little Texas and takes the stage outside of the speedway’s turn two at 6:30 p.m. April 14. Little Texas will perform at approximately 8 p.m. A ticket for either Saturday’s Frank Kimmel Street Nationals and UARA Late Model Series Twin 75’s and NCWTS qualifying or Sunday’s Good Sam Club Roadside Assistance Carolina 200 presented by Cheerwine NCWTS race grants admission to the concert.

“We wanted to make this race a memorable event for our fans,” said Rockingham Speedway President Andy Hillenburg. “So with a big assist from the City of Rockingham, the Richmond County Tourism Development Authority and the Richmond County Daily Journal we were able to get a great band here to entertain the race fans who are coming out for three great days of racing action. It should be an awesome party at The Rock on Saturday night.”

Little Texas will be sticking around for April 15’s race to perform the National Anthem prior to the green flag at 1 p.m.
