Five Star Race Car Bodies to award $500 gift certificate to Mahoning Valley Speedway Later Model racer

Mahoning Valley Speedway in conjunction with Five Star Race Car Bodies is proud to announce the Five Star Race Car Bodies 2018 Contingency Award Sponsor Program for the paved quarter-mile’s Late Model racers.

This program has been developed for the continued growth of stock car racing by rewarding individual racers who have helped promote the importance of both stock appearing, template-style late models and other oval track race cars.

The lucky Late Model recipient will be awarded a $500 Five Star Race Car Bodies gift certificate at the 2018 Awards Banquet.

“I think it’s great to help the Late Model guys out like that,” said Mahoning Valley Speedway two-time and defending champion Mike Sweeney.

“We’re not the Modifieds, we are the next tier down but we still have a lot of money invested into our cars and anything that anyone can give always helps. For Five Star to step up like that is just awesome. I would say there is a about 90% of us at Mahoning that run Five Star bodies.”

In order to be eligible for the $500 gift certificate drivers must display Five Star decals in a designated location. Cars must compete in stock appearing, template-style body. Competitors must compete in 75% of all scheduled race events. The winner will be by a random draw taking place at the season ending banquet.

“It’s just a superb body. I know they’ve been working real hard on some new stuff and they’ve always been at the top of their game when it comes to Late Model bodies,” added Sweeney.

“Five Star always has a great stock of parts and they try to get you what you need as quick as they can. There are plenty of dealers across the country so if you don’t deal direct you can work with one of their dealers.”

Five Star Race Car Bodies is headquartered in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. Online at www.FIVESTARBODIES.com. S & D Bodyline of 2501 Cherrywood Lane in Bath is the area distributor for Five Star Race Car Bodies.
