BMS Launches New Advertising Creative, “This Is What You Live For”

Bristol Motor Speedway recently unveiled its new advertising creative for the Food City 500 that is geared toward putting the spotlight directly on the fans. The new creative was produced by agency partner Design Sensory, of Knoxville, Tenn., along with their content partner Pop Fizz.

The new television and radio commercials titled “This is What You Live For,” position the race fans as the hero. While the racing and experience are what makes the Bristol brand special, the advertising creative aims to lift up the Bristol guest and NASCAR fans as part of Bristol and SMI’s “fans first” customer centricity program.

The new direction and series of ads will concentrate on Bristol fans enjoying a variety of fun experiences at the Speedway.

“For us it’s all about the fans,” said Drew Bedard, vice president of brand/consumer marketing. “We know that everyday life can be hard, so the message we wanted to convey is that coming to Bristol Motor Speedway is a great stress-relief opportunity for fans, a place where they can just let loose and have some fun.”

The new spots are airing now on a variety of media partners.

Tickets are still available for the Food City 500 race weekend where there are so many options to make a complete weekend of family fun, including great video entertainment provided by Colossus, the world’s largest center-hung video screen, premium VIP experiences like the Chairman’s Experience, tailgating, on-site camping, concerts, great food and beverages in the concession stands throughout the property, and so much more.

And for families who want to attend, Bristol Motor Speedway officials are making it easier than ever for kids to have an awesome experience. Kids’ tickets (12 and under) are free and adult tickets are $5 for Friday’s (April 13) Bush’s Beans Pole Day.
