LVMS announces schedule for Pennzoil 400 Weekend

The schedule has been set, and now fans can plan ahead for Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s Pennzoil 400 Weekend this March.

Practice and qualifying times for all three NASCAR series events at the 1.5-mile oval have been determined, and LVMS is set for a full and exciting weekend of racing. On-track action begins on Thursday, March 1, with a pair of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice sessions at 2:05 and 4:05 p.m. Pacific Time, and the track only gets busier from there.

Saturday, March 3, is another busy day, with the second Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube practice kicking things off at 9 a.m. and Boyd Gaming 300 qualifying set for 10:05 a.m. The final Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube practice is slated for 11:35 a.m., Boyd Gaming 300 driver introductions begin at 12:30 and the green flag for the 200-lap Boyd Gaming 300 drops at 1 p.m.

Activities for Sunday, March 4, begin with the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube driver and crew chief meeting in the Neon Garage at 10:30 a.m., and continue with the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube driver introductions at 11:50. The 267-lap Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race anchors the action-packed weekend at 12:30 p.m.

Race fans can already lock in their tickets to both LVMS tripleheaders and capitalize on discounted prices for buying annual passes for all six NASCAR races. The track’s 2018 six-pack of events will show off a number of enhancements the track has planned for the coming months as well.
