Erik Jones to Appear at Budweiser Roll-Bar Prior to Can-Am 500 at Phoenix

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series rookie star Erik Jones will be appearing at the Budweiser ROLL-BAR for a moderated question and answer session before the Can-Am 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, Nov. 12. For a limited time, fans can take advantage of a special ticket offer to see Jones in the Can-Am 500 by purchasing two Middle Foyt grandstand or two Middle Petty grandstand tickets for only $77.

Jones, driver of the No. 77 Furniture Row Racing Toyota, made an appearance in downtown Phoenix this week to promote the beginning of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs and pick his “Championship 4” coming out of the Can-Am 500, the semifinal race of the season. Jones chose his Furniture Row Racing teammate Martin Truex Jr. to win the championship over Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin. He also discussed his rookie season successes and how Phoenix has been one of his best tracks since starting in NASCAR.

“Phoenix has been good to me, ever since I started coming here,” Jones said. “For the first time in 2013, it was my first NASCAR win in the Truck Series at the time. And then I won there a year later as well. So it’s always been a place I’ve really enjoyed coming to and had run well at, had some good race cars at. Just in general, I’ve always felt super comfortable at Phoenix.”

Though he narrowly missed the Playoffs in 2017, Jones was red hot over the last month. In the last five races, he earned three top 5s, including two top 3s, and a pole award at Bristol – the first pole award of his Cup Series career. At 21 years-old, the youngest driver in the series is a front runner for the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year award, an award he won in 2016 in the NASCAR XFINITY Series and 2015 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He also took home the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship title.

The Budweiser ROLL-BAR, located on the west side of the track behind the Bobby Allison grandstands, features the best in live entertainment each day throughout the entire Can-Am 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race weekend at Phoenix Raceway, as well as appearances by some of NASCAR’s top personalities.

Single-day tickets to the Budweiser ROLL-BAR are available for $129 on Saturday, Nov. 11 and for $169 on Sunday, Nov. 12. The additional purchase of a grandstand ticket is still required for track admission.

Tickets to all events throughout the Can-Am 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series weekend at Phoenix Raceway are available online at PhoenixRaceway.com, by phone at 1-866-408-RACE (7223) or in person at the Phoenix Raceway ticket office.
