Jag Metals Named Title Sponsor for November’s NASCAR Truck Series Race

JAG Metals LLC, a locally based company in Weatherford, has reached an agreement for the title sponsorship of November’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoff race at Texas Motor Speedway that will have an emphasis on helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

 

The race, scheduled for the evening of Friday, Nov. 3, will raise awareness of those affected by the disaster by being branded the JAG Metals 350 Driving Hurricane Harvey Relief.

 

The company, which specializes in quality metal buildings and roofing materials, will commence the new partnership with Texas Motor Speedway by donating $5,000 to Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas to benefit the hurricane relief efforts in south Texas. JAG Metals also is working with the speedway to organize drop-off destinations for non-perishable items that will be located at the main gates as well as the infield for fans attending the JAG Metals 350 Driving Hurricane Harvey Relief race day.

 

“We welcome JAG Metals to our family of sponsors, particularly because they are wanting to support folks in Texas who were impacted by Hurricane Harvey,” Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage said. “We know many are hurting there and struggling, so any time one of our sponsors wants to develop a support program we know they are good people. There is so much to address in south Texas and now people in Florida are struggling, too. Sponsors like JAG Metals are trying to ease the load, so those are the kinds of companies we like to represent to race fans.”

 

This will be JAG Metals’ initial venture into a major entitlement as well as into the motorsports industry. The company, located west of Fort Worth and less than 50 miles southwest of the speedway, is looking for the motorsports partnership to help build and expand their brand in the local marketplace with B2B opportunities. Also, the NASCAR fan demographics align strongly with the company’s target audience for their various products.

 

“JAG Metals is a young gun company itself, so it was a great fit to support the young guns in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series who will become the sport’s next stars,” JAG Metals LLC co-owner Justin Bradley said. “While in discussions on this entitlement with Texas Motor Speedway, (co-owner) Blake Bailey and I also wanted to use this platform to help continue to bring awareness and aid to the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. It’s Texans helping Texans and we’re proud to lend a hand.”

 

The JAG Metals 350 Driving Hurricane Harvey Relief, a 147-lap, 220.5-mile race, will start at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 3, and be aired live on FOX Sports 1 as well as MRN Radio and locally on 95.9 FM The Ranch.
