MIS heads south for the NASCAR Preview 2012

The Michigan International Speedway team is heading south to help kick start the 2012 NASCAR season.

The speedway is taking part in Saturday’s NASCAR Preview 2012 presented by Sprint, an all-day, behind-the-scenes pass into the world of NASCAR. Driver autograph and Q&A sessions with most of NASCAR’s drivers, team and sponsor displays and MIS’ on-the-road display will be a part of the event at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C.

“This is not only a great opportunity for us to see some of our guests who travel to Michigan from Charlotte for our events, but also to make some new friends and introduce the speedway to a whole group of people who have always wanted to visit Michigan but haven’t,” MIS President Roger Curtis said.

MIS staff will be on hand for questions about tickets and camping, as well as to challenge guests to NASCAR Unleashed for Wii. Fans will also have a chance to win an MIS prize pack at the event.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. For $20, fans can purchase a combo ticket to NASCAR Preview and the NASCAR Hall of Fame. For more information or for tickets to the NASCAR Preview 2012 presented by Sprint, please visit http://www.nascaracceleration2012.com/.
