Food City 500 Pre-Race Provides Fun Twise with Bristols Popular Driver Intros

Driver introductions are always a popular part of pre-race and Bristol Motor Speedway’s continues to be a fan favorite as drivers walk out to songs of their choice.

Polesitter Kyle Larson is off to a fast start in the 2017 season and will be looking for his first career Bristol victory. He will get his race day started with “Hypnotize” by the Notorious B.I.G.

Chase Elliott starts on the outside of the front row, and the second-generation driver chose “Record Year” by Eric Church and with the way his season has started, the sport could be seeing a record year from him.

Five-time Bristol winner Kyle Busch always gets the crowd roaring during his driver introduction. Whether fans love him or hate him, Busch is unapologetically himself, which is reflected in his selection of “The Way I Am” by Eminem.

2010 Food City 500 winner Jimmie Johnson and rookie Daniel Suarez are both bringing their roots to their driver intro songs. Johnson, who hails from California, will walk out to “California Love” by Tupac, while Suarez brings his Mexican heritage with “El Mariachi Loco”.

Matt DiBenedetto always has something up his sleeve when it comes to Bristol and that’s the case for this race as well. It will be fun to see what he pulls out for Aerosmith’s “Dream On.”
