Evergreen’s “Springduro” is Up Next

It’s been a number of years since Evergreen Raceway held an Enduro under the lights. That’s about to change, as the speedway has decided to hold their first regular season Evergreen Enduro Series event, presented by Sponenberg’s Exhaust, under the lights on Saturday, April 22. Both, the 4-cylinders and 6/8-cylinder will take to the track for 100-laps of action per division. Following the show, which should conclude by 10 PM, speedway management will present the top ten points finishers from the speedway’s wintertime “Triple Crown Series” will their well deserved awards.

Each event will take place, rain or shine. The event will only be postponed if the weather and road conditions to the track are simply too miserable.

The fee to compete for drivers who register on race day is $50.

Upon arrival at the track, drivers will pull pills for their starting positions. All pre-registered drivers will start ahead of those who were not pre-registered. All drivers must visit the track office to sign in upon arrival to the track. Each driver will receive a slip with their starting position. A random roll call will take place at the drivers meeting. If a driver’s name is called and they are not present, they will be forced to start in the rear of the field. No exceptions.

The pit gates will swing open for all of the series events at 5 PM. The drivers meeting will take place at 7:00 PM and racing will kick off at 7:30 PM. Registration will close at 6:45 PM. Grandstand will open at 6:30 PM.

Grandstand admission for each event is just $5. Pit admission is $25 and the transponder rental fee is $10.

The rules, payout and pre-registration list are at EvergreenRacewayPark.com. Pre-registration for the event has closed. Drivers can still register at the track on race day.

Points will be awarded for the regular season Enduros.
