Although This is Halloween, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Charlotte Motor Speedway as the stage for Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health is already being set for a spectacular holiday season. Kicking off the 15th year of holiday magic, the beloved local tradition kicks off Nov. 22 transforming America’s Home for Racing into a dazzling winter wonderland with over 5 million lights, family fun and festive cheer open nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Jan. 5.
Cruise through the Southeast’s largest drive-through light show featuring more lights and figures than ever before, creating a lively experience of brand-new displays like the one-of-a-kind string light Toyota Camry Stock Car and a series of enchanting, larger-than-life holiday figures.
Once inside, stop by the Christmas Village where families can stroll through the expanded walking trail, stopping along the way for perfect holiday photo ops. Every Thursday through Sunday, Santa’s Workshop comes alive with Photos with Santa presented by Cook Out, rotating vendors and season treats sure to satisfy every sweet tooth and holiday wish list.
Also, Thursday through Sunday, continue to ride the sleigh of excitement in the infield and catch your favorite holiday classics like Elf and The Polar Express under the stars at the Queen City News Movie Nights showcased on the new and improved Speedway TV.
For those looking for a dash of adventure, the Cook Out Tubing Hill returns to the Fan Zone offering visitors an exhilarating ride down the 250-foot slopes. Open to guests of all ages Thursday through Sunday, the Cook Out Tubing Hill adds a spark of excitement to Speedway Christmas.
Sprinkling in a little more magic, December brings more holiday spirit with a line-up of special nights including a one-time experience of Signing Santa on Dec. 6 where kids of all ages can meet the man in red as he brings joy and inclusivity to all families, helping make memories that will last all season long.
