Phoenix Raceway and Desert Diamond Casino are extending their winning partnership with a powerful upgrade.
The racetrack announced today that Desert Diamond Casino will remain the Official Casino of Phoenix Raceway through 2027, while also gaining the naming rights to the track’s state-of-the-art Desert Diamond Casino Infield Experience. Moreover, Canyon 2 at Phoenix Raceway will remain the Desert Diamond Casino Canyon, an integral part of the one-mile, championship raceway that boasts two NASCAR weekends each year, including NASCAR Championship Weekend.
In addition, the ARCA Menards Series West championship race on Nov. 8 at Phoenix Raceway will be named the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100, as the Raceway and Casino continue an impactful partnership that began in 2016.
“We treasure our partnership with Desert Diamond Casino, and we know they are going to bring an incredible sparkle to the Desert Diamond Casino Infield Experience,” said Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey. “It is certainly a winning combination that our fans will enjoy during NASCAR Championship Weekend and beyond.”
The Desert Diamond Casino Infield Experience provides racing fans with an immerse experience that surpasses anything else found in the world of sports. In addition to exclusive driver Q&As and autograph sessions, fans have direct access to the NASCAR Cup Series garage as teams prepare for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race on Sunday, Nov. 10. On Championship Sunday, fans with Desert Diamond Casino Infield Experience tickets can also sign the start/finish line, access the pre-race party and have the best access to the pre-race concert featuring international superstar Nelly.
“We’re excited to expand our partnership with Phoenix Raceway as title sponsor of the iconic Infield Experience as well as the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100,” said Mike Bean, CEO of the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise. “We see a lot of opportunity to continue growing stronger together, particularly with our new Desert Diamond Casino White Tanks at San Lucy property opening later this year.”
Desert Diamond Casino West Valley boasts a reputation as a top attraction in the heart of Glendale’s Sports and Entertainment District. With more than 75,000 square feet of wall-to-wall entertainment space, the casino features both new and classic games with over 1,400 slot machines. It also includes the latest electronic and live table games, along with a sportsbook, two restaurants, a Food Court, and two bars offering craft beers and cocktails.
It will certainly be abuzz during the upcoming NASCAR Championship Weekend at Phoenix Raceway, Nov. 8-10. The weekend will feature four championship races in three days, beginning with a Friday doubleheader that includes the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100 and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Championship Race. The following day, the action doubles down with Busch Light Pole Award qualifying for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship and the power-packed NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race.
That ups the ante for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race on Sunday, Nov. 10, as the sport’s top drivers compete for the Bill France Cup. Grandstand tickets for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race are sold out, but a scant number of Hillside and Desert Diamond Casino Infield Experience general admission tickets remain. Tickets are also going fast for Friday and Saturday’s action, so fans are encouraged to visit www.phoenixraceway.com to secure them before they are gone.
