The second Thunder on the Hill Racing Series special and five Saturday night NASCAR Modified and Sportsman double programs make up a busy schedule for the month of June at Grandview Speedway.
The month begins this Saturday, June 1 with a program that will feature qualifying events for both the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman all part of a NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series race program.
Following qualifying will be the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman 25-lap feature that was held-over from the May 11th program, followed by a 30-lap T. P. Trailer Modified feature, then the regularly scheduled 25-lap T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman feature race.
Everyone that was in attendance last Saturday night for the rain shortened program is reminded that all grandstand tickets and pit wristbands will be good for admission for the next two events, however those tickets and wristbands must be turned in at the ticket windows for new ones.
For anyone attending that may be new to the show, they will pay the regular admission prices with adult grandstand admission at $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
Times for June 1 will also revert to the summer schedule with pit gates opening at 4 pm, grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.
The second weekend of June will see two shows beginning on Friday, June 7, featuring the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Outlaw Racing Series Vintage Cars in action along with the Xcel 600 Modifieds starting at 7 pm. Pit gates open at 2 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5 pm. Grandstand admission will be $10, with children ages 12 and under admitted for free. Pit admission is $30 for the Friday event.
On Saturday, June 8 the program will be sponsored by A.D. Moyer Lumber Co. and will feature the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman in another NASCAR double header starting at 7:30 pm.

The second Thunder on the Hill Racing Series event is up next on Tuesday, June 11 featuring the 17th annual Jesse Hockett Classic Eastern Storm for the USAC National Championship non-wing Sprint Cars.
The ever popular USAC National Sprint series will be joined by the 358 Modifieds for a fantastic two-division program starting at 7:30 pm.
Weekend number three features Macmillan Oil Company of Allentown night on Saturday, June 15 which includes both the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T. P. Truck Equipment Sportsman in action at 7:30 pm.

On Saturday, June 22 the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage division cars will join the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T. P. Truck Equipment Sportsman for a rare triple-header show starting at 7:30 pm.
The final weekend on Saturday, June 29 will see more double-header action with the NASCAR sanctioned T. P. Trailer Modifieds and T. P. Truck Equipment Sportsman in action prior to the Independence Holiday weekend.
Heading into this Saturday night June 1 there have been four different winners in T.P. Trailer Modified action, with John Willman adding his name to the list last week joining Mike Mahaney , Brett Kressley, and Louden Reimert as winners to date.
The T. P. Truck Equipment Sportsman have three winners so far with Logan Watt, Gavyn Krupp, and Colten Perry having visited the winners circle, and two more chances will be available this week with Sportsman double features on the program.
