Iowa Speedway Season Ticket Holders Eligible to Win Camaro Convertible

Iowa Speedway season ticket holders and those who pre-registered at the Premiere Chevy Dealers of Iowa are eligible to win an Iowa Speedway 2011 Chevy Camaro SS red convertible at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Altoona, Iowa, on Saturday, Sept. 17.

Season ticket holders and those who signed up at the Chevy dealers must check-in with Iowa Speedway staff between 4-6:30 p.m. on the Prairie Meadows patio to qualify to win. NASCAR racing legend and Iowa Speedway co-owner Rusty Wallace will draw 20 finalists at 7 p.m. and the grand prize will be awarded at 8:15 p.m. Finalists will be given a CD — if they hear the sound of a revving engine when they push play, they’ll be driving home in a new car!

Iowa Speedway’s loyal fans were a major part of the excitement surrounding the 2011 race season. The track hosted four major race weekends, including two sold-out NASCAR Nationwide Series races. Season ticket holders also got the opportunity to witness Ricky Stenhouse Jr. sweep the NASCAR Nationwide Series and Marco Andretti get his first win in five years during the IZOD IndyCar race.

“Iowa Speedway had a great 2011 race season because of our season ticket holders,” says Iowa Speedway President Jerry Jauron. “We couldn’t think of a better way to say ‘thank you’ to our fans than by giving them a chance to take home a 2011 Chevy Camaro.”

The giveaway coincides with Fly Iowa 2011 Wings, Wheels and Thrills — a free air and car show on Saturday, Sept. 17, in Newton. The car show, Show ‘N Shine Hot-Rod, will feature exhibits, food vendors and activities for the kids. Everyone is encouraged to stick around for the free Great American Stockcar Series (GASS) Race beginning at 5 p.m.
