Kimmel Racing pulls out of ARCA’s Tide 150 at Kansas Speedway

Kimmel Racing, who had the No. 68 of Will Kimmel and the No. 69 of Scott Melton entered this weekend at Kansas Speedway for Saturday’s ARCA race, will be making a long trip back to Clarksville, Ind. The race team decided to pack up everything and go home after an incident involving their race cars and their hauler.

“One of the cars came loose in the trailer and tore up both of them,” stated Bill Kimmel, who owns Kimmel Racing. “Bumpers, rear quarters, crush panels, etc. were damaged. It was just not a good day.”

With Kimmel Racing’s exit for this weekend, it now leaves just 24 cars that are entered for Saturday’s Tide 150 at Kansas Speedway.
