Fresh off its annual visit to legendary Daytona International Speedway to kick off its 2019 season, the ARCA Menards Series will make the journey to the Florida panhandle for its second race of the year at Pensacola’s Five Flags Speedway. Point leader Harrison Burton and the rest of stock car racing’s most promising young talent will chase victory on the paved half mile in the Pensacola 200, which can be seen live on Lucas Oil Racing TV beginning at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 9.

The following weekend, the world’s premier short course off-road racing championship will bring some winter heat to Southern California as the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, presented by GEICO, hosts its opening round of the 2019 season from San Bernardino’s famed Glen Helen Raceway. Reigning Pro 2 Champion Rob MacCachren and Pro 4 Champion RJ Anderson will lead the most talented off-road racers on the planet into the General Tire SoCal Shootout, presented by K&N Filters, on Saturday, March 16, with a nighttime showcase of bumping, banging, and high flying action under the lights. Coverage on Lucas Oil Racing TV begins at 10 p.m. ET.

The month of March concludes with an SRL doubleheader from Irwindale Speedway in Southern California. This highly competitive regional series has been the proving ground for some of NASCAR’s biggest names like Kurt Busch, Kevin Harvick, Ron Hornaday Jr., and Matt Crafton, and remains a hidden gem where viewers can witness the rise of stock car racing’s future stars. On Saturday, March 23, the RJ Allen Inc. 100, presented by Traffic Management Inc., will mark the second race of the 2019 season for both the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series and Spears Manufacturing SRL Modified Series. The Southwest Tour will go door-to-door over the course of two 50-lap segments, while the Modified Series will bang wheels for a pair of 40-lap segments. Adam has been a race fan since the first time he went through the tunnel under the Daytona International Speedway almost 30 years ago. He has had the privilege of traveling to races all across the state of Florida (as well as one race in Ohio), watching nearly everything with a motor compete for fame and glory, as well as participating in various racing schools to get the feel of what racecar drivers go through every week.

Adam spent several years covering motorsports for Examiner.com., where he had the opportunity to see the racing world from behind the scenes as well as the grandstands. He invites everyone to follow him on Twitter, Facebook, and Google Plus, and looks forward to sharing his enthusiasm for all things racing with the readers of SpeedwayDigest.com.

Be sure to tune in for his sports talk program, Thursday Night Thunder, where he discusses the latest in motorsports news with drivers, crew members, and fans. The show takes place (almost) every Thursday at 8:00 pm EST on the Speedway Digest Radio Network.
