SCCA announces 2019 U.S. Majors Tour Southern Conference Schedule

The Southern Conference has released its 2019 SCCA® U.S. Majors Tour® competition calendar. A total of six weekends, 12 races in all, make up the schedule that runs from January to early September.

Only one stop on the Southern Conference schedule is a three-day event and that is the February visit to Circuit of the Americas, which happens to be one of two Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour dates on the Conference calendar this year, the other being in March at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. Five of the six race weekends take place in Texas, and the final two events — separated by three months — will both be held at Motor Speedway Resort Houston.

As always, the calendar below is subject to change, but the current 2019 U.S. Majors Tour Southern Conference schedule is comprised of the following:
– January 26-27: MotorSport Ranch; Cresson, Texas

– February 8-10: Circuit of the Americas; Austin, Texas

– March 30-31: Hallett Motor Racing Circuit; Jennings, Oklahoma
(Dual Mid-States/Southern Conference Event)

– May 4-5: Eagles Canyon Raceway; Decatur, Texas

– May 25-26: Motor Speedway Resort Houston; Angleton, Texas

– August 31-Sept. 1: Motor Speedway Resort Houston; Angleton, Texas

Schedules for other SCCA U.S. Majors Tour Conferences will be published as they are finalized. Only SCCA Full Competition and SCCA Pro Racing License holders may register for the U.S. Majors Tour or Hoosier Super Tour series. Again this year, both the U.S. Majors Tour and Hoosier Super Tour serve as pathways to the 2019 SCCA National Championship Runoffs® being held at VIRginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia.
