Jonathan Findley Racing and McCallister Precision Marketing have announced that Solid Rock Carriers of La Grange, N.C., will be the primary sponsor of Findley’s No. 4 Ford during the Thanksgiving Classic at Southern National Motorsports Park on Nov. 23-25.
Findley is thrilled and thankful for the opportunity to represent Solid Rock owner Kirk Ipock during the 200-lap Thanksgiving Classic late model stock car event.
“Kirk has done so much for the racing community and I am very happy and thankful to him for supporting me during the Thanksgiving Classic,” said Findley, “I am going to do my very best to bring my Solid Rock Ford to victory lane for Kirk.”
Ipock noted that Findley’s performance in the annual ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Virginia’s Martinsville Speedway is what initially captured his attention.
“We watched Jonathan at Martinsville and saw what a wheel man he was and knew we had to do something together,” said Ipock.
Findley tested Monday Southern National Motorsports Park in preparation for the Thanksgiving Classic and believes he has a strong car for Sunday’s race.
“We were really fast on Monday, but were unable to sticker up due to a part failure. We’ll get that fixed and be back and ready for the race this weekend,” Findley said. “I can’t wait to get back in the car for this wonderful event.”
