Wisconsin’s Natalie Decker Ready for Madison Spotlight

Wisconsin’s very own Natalie Decker returns to her home state for Friday night’s ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards – Herr’s Potato Chips 200 at Madison International Speedway.

Born and raised in the picturesque town of Eagle River, which is located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, Decker will make her first ARCA start at Madison’s half-mile track driving her signature Venturini Motorsports prepared No.25 N29 Capital Partners – Yamaha Power Products Toyota.

A popular figure on tour regardless the city, Decker relishes in the opportunity to compete in front of her home state fans.

“Coming home to Wisconsin and racing in front of my fans is really exciting,” says Decker. “I spent so many years racing short tracks here so it’s really special to come back and do it in the ARCA series – I know we’ll have a lot of support. It’s going to be a great weekend.”

Decker’s support won’t stop in the grandstands. The 20-year old’s primary sponsor, N29 Capital Partners, is also based in the state’s capital city.

“Every race is important. But this week’s race takes on even more since it’s home to my sponsor N29 (Capital Partners). They’ll have a bunch of people at the track. Carl (Rudebusch) and everyone from the company made this year happen for us – It’s been a dream year – I’m just so thankful. We’ll do our best to put on a good show.”

Competing in her first full ARCA season Decker currently occupies the sixth spot in the series driver point standings. After making headlines earlier this year after winning the General Tire Pole Award at Daytona (finishing 5th) Decker returns to the track optimistic about her chances at Madison.

“We’re bringing back the same short track car we’ve run all season. It’s one of my favorite cars. Venturini Motorsports brings great equipment every week. I’m feeling really good and like our chances this week.”

Prior to arriving at the track on race day, Natalie will make a local appearance signing autographs from 6:00-6:30pm at the Menards store located at 2001 Morse Street in Janesville, Wisconsin.
