Natalie Decker Returns to ARCA action with Toledo Homecoming

It was one year ago when 20-year old female rookie Natalie Decker splashed onto the ARCA scene earning a solid 11th place finish in her series debut at Toledo Speedway.

Now, competing in her first full season with Venturini Motorsports, the Eagle River, Wi. native returns to the track where it all stated competing in Sunday’s Menards 200.

Decker, a Scotts Rookie of the Year contender, will suit up this weekend looking to make more headlines behind the wheel of her identifiable No.25 N29 Capital Partners – Yamaha Power Products Toyota.

Starting strong, Decker opened the season winning the General Tire Pole at Daytona, and backed that up with a career-best 5th-place finish in the race. After four events in 2018, Decker finds herself 6th in national championship standings.

“My confidence is literally getting better and better with each lap no matter where we are racing,” said Decker. “It’s really just a matter of getting seat-time and experience. I only did seven races last year. This year, we’re doing them all, and I can’t wait for the next track, especially Toledo. It’s just a really fun race track…so fast. Toledo will always be one of my favorites.”

Looking to rebound from disappointing finishes at Salem Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway, Decker remains optimistic.

“We’ve been really solid all year long. I don’t think our results over the last two races really tells the story. We had great runs going at both Salem and Talladega but got bit with some bad luck. I feel good going back to Toledo. It’s big race for us to get back on track. I’ve got a ton of confidence in myself and this team.”
