NWES Announces Live Coverage and Worldwide Presence

Thanks to NASCAR Media Group, NASCAR Productions and IMG, the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will feature for 2016 a TV coverage wider and more engaging than ever with live streaming coverage of every race and a new on demand “as live” replays available in the coming weeks on FansChoice.tv, as well as new highlights programs “Inside NWES” which will be aired in more than 180 countries thanks to 18 broadcasting partners.

The list of confirmed broadcasting networks includes Motors TV, AB Moteur, Canal+/Prisa TV, Premier Sports UK, BT Sports, Ziggo Sport, Sport TV, Viasat, ASN, Fox Sports Latin America, Fox Sports Asia, LeTV and Abu Dhabi Media, while new partners will join NASCAR Whelen Euro Series TV coverage: Auto Motor Und Sport Channel for the German-speaking market, Nuvolari for Italy, Play Sports for Belgium, Band Sports for Brazil and XSport TV for North and Central Africa as well as the Middle East.

With the “Inside NWES” magazine, fans all over the world will enjoy all the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series action thanks to two dynamic 13-minute episodes dedicated to each meeting, featuring race highlights, interviews and “behind the scenes” contents.

On the digital side, NWES and its partners will further grow the offer for fans all over the world. All races will be streamed live with English commentary on Fanschoice.tv. This official web platform created by NASCAR, IMSA and AMA Pro Racing will also offer NWES races, “Inside NWES” magazines, daily highlights and dedicated interviews as On Demand contents.

The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will further enhance its social media presence by publishing the NWES magazines, daily highlights, onboard cameras and post race interviews on its official Youtube Channel “EuroNASCAR” and by posting even more immersive content from the track on its social media profiles on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to allow fans to access the heart of the European NASCAR.

The next event on the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Calendar is the second edition of the Autospeedway American Style, taking place at Raceway Venray, on the border between the Netherlands and Germany, on May 15-16.
