This Saturday night, September 21st, 2023 Avanti Windows and Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series Champion Brody Roa will be competing at Perris Auto Speedway for the fourth time in 2024. It will also be the first time he has been in his own brilliant green #91R on the Riverside County half-mile clay oval since 2022.

Earlier this season, Roa, who won his only USAC National race at The PAS in his #91R, drove cars for Jason May and Chris Bonneau at the Riverside County half mile. His best outing came at the Salute to Indy in May’s #8M on Memorial Day weekend when he placed third. Two months earlier, he wheeled Bonneau’s #15 to a near victory at The PAS. Leading the main event with just four laps to go, a flat tire sent him to the work area. Coming back onto the track, he had to start at the back. He worked his way all the way up to fourth in only four laps.
His only other appearance at The PAS resulted in an eighth-place finish in May’s car in April.
Roa enters Saturday’s race ninth in the all-time Perris USAC/CRA victory list with seven wins. In addition, of the 84 drivers who have posted wins in the USAC/CRA Series dating back to its inception in 2004, the proud father of two young daughters is fourth on the all-time win list with 21.
Saturday will be Roa’s second appearance in his #91R car this year. On the first of this month he was running sixth when he flipped during the USCS race at Santa Maria.
Between USAC/CRA and the Ultimate Sprint Car Series presented by Inland Rigging, Roa has made eight main event starts. Of the eight, he has two wins, four top fives, and five top 10s. The only time he started a main and finished out of the top 10 was the 17th after flipping at Santa Maria in the aforementioned September 1st race.
Roa is racing for fun this year. No worries about points, racing when he wants to, and, most of all, getting the family team back together again. For anyone who would like to jump on board and be a marketing partner, he would be more than happy to oblige.
“Yeah, every little contribution helps,” Roa stated when asked if he would like to add some sponsors. “I don’t know how much we will race it, and when we will race it. We are always looking for somebody to jump on board. We have blank sides of the hood, so there is plenty of room.”
To see Roa and the other Avanti Windows and Doors USAC/CRA Series stars in action on Saturday at Perris, spectator gates will open at 5:00 p.m. with racing at 7:00. Adult tickets for Saturday’s exciting racing program are $30.00. Seniors 65 and over get in for $25.00. For kids 6 to 12, it is only $5.00, and children five and under are admitted free. The fairground charges $10.00 for parking. Advance tickets are available 24 hours a day online at https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/pas/7 or by calling 1-800-595-4849. Plenty of tickets will be available at the ticket window every race night for fans who do not wish to purchase in advance.
The PAS is conveniently located on the freeway close Lake Perris Fairgrounds, home of the Southern California Fair, in nearby Riverside County. Take the 215 freeway. Exit at the Ramona Expressway and go three miles east to the fairgrounds. For directions online, the address to enter is 18700 Lake Perris Drive, and the zip code is 92571.
Roa would like to thank his sponsors, “Biker” Bruce Fischer, ALR Virtual Services, Burris Racing, Caltrol, Competition Suspension, Simpson Race Gear, Rod End Supply, Driven Racing Oil, Baldwin Filters, and NGK Spark Plugs. If you would like to be a marketing partner in 2024, contact Roa using the information at the top of this release.
