The Race of Champions Dirt 602 Sportsman Modified Series heads to Humberstone Speedway in Port Colborne, Ontario-Canada this Sunday evening, August 25 for the 10th annual and final running of the Pete Cosco Memorial.
It is sure to be an emotional event.
Jay Mallory of Saint Catherines, Ontario-Canada is the defending Series champion.
“We are looking forward to this event. Pete Cosco was a great man and hopefully we can have a great run in this event,” stated Mallory. “It’s always challenging because of the great competition but we are up to the challenge and looking forward to honoring the Cosco family.”
The most recent event for the Race of Champions 602 Dirt Sportsman Modified Series was postponed due to inclement weather and has been reschedule for Thursday, September 12 at Ohsweken Speedway as part of the opening day of the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals.

When:Sunday, August 25, 2024. Grandstands open at 5:00 pm. Racing at 6:30 pm
Directions:The track is located is just a short drive from Niagara Falls and St. Catherines, Ontario as well as just 20-miles from downtown Buffalo and the Peace Bridge at 1716 HWY 3 in Port Colborne, Ontario.
