Fans at home will be able to bid on a wide assortment of sports memorabilia, fashion items, entertainment and travel experiences, and more through this year’s Gunslinger’s Auction presented by Toyota at the Cessna Skinner Round-Up Hoedown Bash on Wednesday, October 28. The 2015 auction will include a new online bidding process through 501 Auctions, which will allow remote bidding as individuals place bids from home or monitor items while exploring the rest of the Hoedown Bash.
“We’re very excited to provide online bidding for this year’s Gunslinger’s Auction presented by Toyota,” Mike Skinner, co-host of the Cessna Skinner Round-Up and 1995 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion, said. “Angie and I are confident that it will help streamline the entire process and help get everyone involved, both at the Hoedown Bash and at home. We’ve had such great support from countless businesses and individuals while gathering donations and items for this year’s event; we expect it will be our best silent auction event yet.”
The Gunslinger’s Auction presented by Toyota will feature more than 100 items ranging from fashion items, to autographed sports memorabilia to vacation experiences, with starting bids beginning as low as $15. Through the partnership with 501 Auctions, interested parties will be able to place bids on auction items at 501Auctions.com/SkinnerRoundUp beginning today. The auction, which is actively accepting bids, will remain open until 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 28. The digital platform will allow participants to watch the items they’re interested in while enjoying the rest of the Hoedown Bash, and will also allow bidders to get mobile notifications if their maximum bid is exceeded on an item. Bidders do not need to be present at the Hoedown Bash to win.
“Mike and I are very excited to take the Gunslinger’s Auction presented by Toyota online in 2015,” Angie Skinner, co-host of the Cessna Skinner Round-Up said. “We believe this will be a great option to extend the auction to include not only everyone in attendance at the Hoedown Bash, but also fans at home. We pride ourselves in consistently having one of the largest silent auctions in Volusia County, and we’re confident that this year’s event won’t disappoint.”
Several high-end auction items will be available through the Gunslinger’s Gallery, which will also be available for bidding at 501Auctions.com/SkinnerRoundUp. This portfolio of items will include items such as: an E-Z-GO six-passenger golf cart, a Cessna round-trip plane charter, a Powderhook Blast & Cast vacation in Michigan, a Zac Brown Band VIP concert package, and a VIP experience at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, England. Additionally, a specialized Bad Boy Buggies vehicle featuring the National Wild Turkey Federation camouflage pattern will be available as a bonus Gunslinger’s Gallery auction item. This item will be available exclusively through a live auction at the Cessna Skinner Round-Up Hoedown Bash at 9 p.m. ET.
In 2015, the Cessna Skinner Round-Up will benefit the Council on Aging of Volusia County. In partnership with the community, the Council on Aging promotes healthy, independent living through caring and compassionate services. The Council on Aging of Volusia County serves thousands of clients every year through meals programs, non-medical health services and senior activities.
Tickets for the Cessna Skinner Round-Up Hoedown Bash can be pre-purchased online at MikeSkinner.com/RoundUp, or on the day of the event at Daytona International Speedway’s Williamson Blvd. entrance. The event begins at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 28, and tickets are just $10 for adults while children ages 12 and under are admitted free.
