Powell Ready To Take On Michigan With Lira Motorsports

Canadian driver Cole Powell will be back behind the wheel for Lira Motorsports at Michigan International Speedway for the Corrigan Oil 200 on Friday, June 12th. This will be his second time driving for the team, with his first resulting in 3rd place finish at Talladega Superspeedway in May. That finish was an ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards career best for both Cole, and for the Lira Motorsports team, competing in its first year of ARCA Racing competition.

Cole will be driving the number 58 car, which has started every race thus far this year. The 58 is currently 10th in ARCA Racing owner points, but only by five points over 11th, and 10 points over 12th. The team will be looking for another strong performance from Cole, to solidify their position in the top ten.

The Tricar Group will again serve as Cole’s primary sponsor for the race. The Tricar Group is a leader in luxury condo and rental suites throughout Southwestern Ontario, with an impressive portfolio of over 5000 quality, innovative homes.

Cole Powell on Michigan International Speedway: “I’m excited to have another crack at a win in ARCA! Thank you to Lira Motorsports for the opportunity to drive for them again, and to Tricar for their continued support. I’ve never raced at Michigan before, but after the results of my Talladega debut, I am ready to get after it in the Corrigan Oil 200!”
