Kevin Lacroix Looking at Clinching the Win at CTMP!

Kevin Lacroix will be looking to repeat his September 2023 victory at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park this coming weekend. The ASSA ABLOY Accentra 200 will kick off the NASCAR Canada season on Sunday afternoon.

It will also be a first, as Lacroix will command the #74 NAPA machine, which was entered by Innovation Auto Sport (IAS). This new team is the fruit of a strategic partnership with Mathieu Kingsbury, who is at the helm of Duroking Autosport.

“It’s been a busy winter for IAS, as we’ve worked hard to build the team,” says Lacroix. “We’re lucky to have Étienne Cliche on board as Team Manager and engineer. His knowledge is impressive! I’m also very happy to have a new teammate.”

Indeed, Andrew Ranger is also set to take the green flag with Innovation Auto Sport. The start of the season seems to be going well, with Lacroix finishing 2nd in pre-season testing at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park earlier this month, while Andrew Ranger finished 3rd.

“I love CTMP,” says Lacroix. “I usually have success there, so it’s always nice to go back and see what we can do. It won’t be an easy feat as the Top 10 in practice was very fast, so I’m looking forward to getting out on track and rubbing shoulders with the rest of the field.”

The ASSA ABLOY Accentra 200 will start at 2:10 p.m. It will be broadcast live on the TSN+ app and on FlorRacing.
