The ARCA Menards Series took over Kansas Speedway Saturday for the Tide 150 at the 1.5-mile oval. The event, featuring 24 entries, marked race five on the series calendar in 2024.

Tanner Gray won the pole in combined practice / qualifying after early morning rain delayed on-track activities. Gray posted a time of 30.723 seconds / 175.764 mph to earn his second career ARCA pole. Jake Finch, Kris Wright, Lavar Scott and Andres Perez started in the top five.

Tanner Gray, chasing his first career ARCA win, showed dominance behind the wheel of his No. 18 Toyota Camry by leading the opening 82 circuits. Gray led comfortably all throughout the race until the yellow waved at lap 76 for Ryan Roulette spinning in turn two.

This bunched the field up with Connor Mosack and Tanner Gray at the front for the restart.

Mosack managed to take the lead on the restart away from Gray with 17 circuits remaining.

Gray managed to work his way back around Mosack for the top spot to lead the next four laps.

However, Mosack, chasing his second ARCA victory, wasn’t done battling Gray for the lead. The driver of the No. 28 Chevrolet caught the race leader to take the top spot with 12 to go.

Mosack cruised away to earn the victory in the Tide 150 at the 1.5-mile Kansas oval – earning his 11th top five and 15th top 10 finish in the series.

Tanner Gray finished second by 0.470 seconds with Dean Thompson, Kris Wright, and Jake Finch following.

Andy Jankowiak, Andres Perez, Amber Balcaen, Marco Andretti, and Toni Breidinger took home top 10s.

The ARCA Menards Series heads next to Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 24th. The General Tire 150, the sixth race on the series calendar, airs live on FOX Sports 1 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
