Team IHRA to participate in FIREBALL RUN

Team IHRA has been selected to participate in Season 8 of FIREBALL RUN America’s Frontier, an online reality-filmed entertainment series.

Since 2007, FIREBALL RUN has been The Most Epic Adventurally in America®, a gripping 8 day, 2000 mile, life-size trivia game, where America serves as the game board: part live event, part streamed, and part 25 episode series. Unlike reality TV, FIREBALL RUN is authentic and real; 40 celebrity and aspirational driving teams compete for bragging rights, a greater cause, and a plastic road sign – all while raising awareness for missing children.

Driving a 2007 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG, Team IHRA has been assigned and will raise awareness for local missing child, Cameron Parmer. Cameron Parmer, now 16 years old, has been missing since October 29, 2013. Local Participant Aidy Alonzo hopes to raise media attention that could inspire someone to come forward with new leads for police. “We are honored and privileged to be participating in this campaign to locate Cameron Parmer and help bring him home to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida,” noted Aidy Alonzo, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at IRG Sports + Entertainment™ (IRG), the parent company of Team IHRA and the International Hot Rod Association™ (IHRA).

To move about the country and score, teams solve clues and accomplish tasks based on area, points of interest, history and culture. Although a living trivia game, there is nothing trivial about FIREBALL RUN’s message or results. Often referred to as “the most fun you will ever have, doing the most important thing you’ve ever done”, every team is assigned a missing child from their home of origin and tasked with distributing posters; the effort annually distributes 65,000 posters across America and has aided in 43 recoveries since 2007. Child Rescue Network serves as the show’s official charity.

The event is streamed live. Supporters and fans can track Team IHRA’s location via live GPS by AmberAlertGPS.
