Racing for Charity, Ed Pompa Looks to Keep Making a difference in his Return to Fast Track

Returning for his 19th Season, ARCA Menards Series staple Ed Pompa Kicks off the 2024 campaign at the High Banks of Daytona. His Fast Track Chevrolet will Sport a familiar Decal on the hood, that of the Double H Ranch out of Lake Luzerne, New York.

Double H and the Pompa Family have a long history together, dating back to 1993 when the ranch was formed. A camp for children with Life Threatening Illnesses, Double H is “Like Victory Junction, but without the Celebrity Backers”, according to Ed.

“I don’t have a desire to race in Trucks or Xfinity, this program is just for fun for me. So I want to use this platform to raise money and awareness for the Ranch, and to help fund their programs throughout the year”

Some of the decals you’ll see on his cars every race day; Hytorc of New York, Vampire State and Burt Crane & Rigging, all contribute directly to Double H. “The sponsors on my car Donate to the Ranch, and I put them on the Racecar for free. 100% of the funds go where they need to, we give the sponsors the publicity and the kids enjoy seeing their racecar out on the track.”

The kids certainly have had something to cheer for lately, as Ed is coming off one of his best seasons yet in the ARCA Menards Platform. He achieved a career high of 3 Top 10’s, career high finishes of 8th at Salem and Dover, and a 13.1 Average Finish in 2023.

Race Fans can catch the season opener at Daytona live on FS1, MRN and the Fox Sports App at 1:30 PM ET Saturday February 17.
