ARCA: Kansas Practice Recap

The one and only practice session today went very smooth for all of the drivers to prepare for tonight’s Kansas Lottery 98.9 The Rock. It was a very interesting result when the practice session ended of the drivers on the top spot.

John Wes Townley was the fastest car of the day after the session with a fast time of 30.672 seconds, 176.056 mph. Townley will try to bookend the year with a win at Kansas after winning the opener at Daytona. This will be his 30th career start in the ARCA Racing Series.

Second in practice was Dylan Kwasniewski with a fast lap of 30.819 seconds, 175.217 mph. He was just 0.147 seconds slower than leader John Wes Townley. He will be one of the drivers who will make their ARCA Racing debuts.

Chad Boat was third on the sheet after the one and only practice session for the series with a fast lap of 30.840 seconds, 175.097 mph. Boat goes into tonight’s race making his ninth career start in the ARCA Racing Series.

Points leader Frank Kimmel was sixth on the practice sheet with a 30.962 seconds, 174.407 mph. Kimmel clinched his 10th career ARCA Racing Series Championship after running at least a lap in today’s practice session.
