Kostecki Searches For Luck

Brodie Kostecki, driver of the #43 NASCAR K&N Pro Series Arcoplate Chevrolet, and #40 UARA-Stars Arcoplate Ford is looking for a four leaf clover.

After winning the UARA-Stars race in Rockingham back in May, Team Arcoplate had high hopes heading into the rest of the season.

Missing the pole position by less than a tenth of a second at Iowa Speedway and qualifying 8th in his second K&N Pro Series appearance, Kostecki was primed for the race. Working his way up to 5th place, Kostecki was on the move when a blown right tire sent him into the wall.

Weeks later, Kostecki qualified 2nd at Anderson Speedway in South Carolina for the UARA-Stars race. Just thirty-nine laps from the end, another right front tire blew and sent him into the wall.

“We’ve had some really fast cars in our NASCAR K&N and UARA-Stars series appearances,” commented Kostecki. “With a little luck, I’m confident that we can get our Team Arcoplate car back into victory lane. I’d really like to thank Arcoplate, Canine Companions for Independence, Torco Oil, Mt Magnet Drilling and McNiel Insurance Brokers for all their support.”

Kostecki’s next race with be Saturday, June 22 at the Hickory Motor Speedway in the UARA-Stars series.

Brodie Kostecki has been racing since age four. In Australia, he competed in go-karts and in 2011 made his USAC series debut. At the age of 15, he has now moved to Mooresville, NC to pursue his racing passion. Kostecki will be running the full UARA series as well as several NASCAR K&N East Pro Series races.
