Chase Briscoe won Saturday’s inaugural NASCAR Xfinity Series price on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Briscoe survived a four-car battle for the win in the closing laps of Saturday’s race.

Driver No. 98 celebrated his victory on Saturday with his team by climbing the fence next to the yard of bricks, just as his team owner Tony Stewart used to do when he won.

“Everybody knows that I grew up and my hero in racing was Tony Stewart,” Briscoe said post-race. “To get to drive for him and watch him win the brickyard was always his signature thing and I just wanted to do it. Obviously, it is not the same prestige as winning on the oval but you still won at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.”

Briscoe won by outbreaking road course veteran Allmendinger into Turn 1 to take the lead with two laps to go. The top four cars would run two by two through Turns 1 and 2. Briscoe would keep his lead and pull away from Allmendinger and Cindric.

For Briscoe, this marks his fifth win this season in 13 races becoming only the second driver in Xfinity history to win as many races in the same time frame. Sam Are currently holds that record with six wins in the first 13 races of the season.

Rounding out the top five were Justin Haley in second, Noah Gragson in third, AJ Allmendinger in fourth and Austin Cindric in fifth.

Justin Haley’s runner-up finish is his best finish in six road course starts.

Rounding out the top ten were Ross Chastain in sixth, Justin Allgaier in seventh, Alex Labbe in eighth, Michael Annett in ninth and Preston Pardus in tenth.

Justin Allgaier, who finished seventh on Saturday will also be running in Sunday’s Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway after 7-time Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson texted positive for Covid-19.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will head into Kentucky Speedway on Thursday, July 9th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on FS1 in the running of the Shady Rays 200.

Kevin Harvick won Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway and his first win at the tricky triangle.

Driver No. 4 didn’t do any burnouts or celebrations after his win on Sunday citing empty grandstands and not having his team to celebrate with in victory lane.

“I’m not doing it anymore celebrations with nobody out there to celebrate with,” Harvick said post-race. “Until the fans come back I’m not doing a burnout, I’m not standing on the car, I’m not doing any of that stuff. It doesn’t feel right not having my team in victory lane.

Saturday’s win was Harvick’s 52nd Cup win of his career and now Harvick has officially won at every track on the current NASCAR Cup Series schedule expect for Kentucky Speedway and the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval.

The start of Saturday’s race was delayed for near an hour to allow track workers to dry Pocono Raceway after rain from the morning. The NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series race scheduled for Saturday was moved to Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Eastern on FS1.

Rounding out the top five were Denny Hamlin in second, Aric Almirola in third, Christopher Bell in fourth and Kyle Busch in fifth.

Rounding out the top ten were Martin Truex Jr. in sixth, Clint Bowyer in seventh, Michael McDowell in eighth, Brad Keselwoski in ninth and Chris Buescher in tenth. 

The second Cup race of the Pocono doubleheader will take place on Sunday at 4 p.m. Eastern. With the inversion on Sunday, Ryan Preece, who finished 20th on Saturday will start from the pole on Sunday.

Justin Haley won Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega. Haley won in a three-lap finish to score his first Xfinity Series victory.

The final restart of the day was set up by a large wreck on the frontstretch with nine laps to go, It started when Noah Gragson was turned from his JR. Motorsports teammate Justin Allgaier. Other drivers involved in the crash were Tommy Joe Martins, Myatt Snider, Bradon Brown and Brandon Jones.

“First of all I want to dedicate the win to Nick Harrison and the Harrison family. He started this journey with me last year in my rookie year. Loosing him was pretty big,” Haley spoke with FS1 post-race about Nick Harrsion, who lost his life unexpectedly last year. “This is an incredible day. Emotionally, I’m fighting for a ride. Fighting for the next time I get in a racecar next year. Anytime you can win it definitely helps.”

Rounding out the top five were Ross Chastain in second, Jeb Burton in third, Austin Cindric in fourth and Brett Moffitt in fifth.

Ross Chastain, who finished second, earned him $100,000 in the Dash 4 Cash bonus.

Jeb Burton’s third place finish was his best Xfinity Series finish.

Burton started from the rear of the field after his car failed pre-race inspection three times.

Rounding out the top ten were Anthony Alfredo in sixth, AJ Allmendinger in seventh, Gray Gaulding in eighth, Alex Labbe in ninth and Noah Gragson in tenth.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will head to Pocono Raceway at 12:30 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, June 28 on FS1.

Harrison Burton won Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Burton, who drives for Joe Gibbs Racing took the lead with just two laps to go, winning his second race of the season and the first in the Xfinity Series two race double header weekend.

With his win on Saturday, Burton becomes the third two-time winner of the 2020 Xfinity Series season along with Noah Gragson and Chase Briscoe.

“So much fun for me especially,” Burton told FOX Sports. “I gave him the lead on the outside early and I think he chose the inside because of that. I knew I couldn’t give it to him again.

“This is such a tight series and everyone is so so competitive that you kind of have to claw and dig every chance you get. This was one of those times where he kind of got loose and got under him and it was a good race. That’s for sure,”

Rounding out the top five were Austin Cindric in second, Noah Gragson in third, Anthony Alfredo in fourth and Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished fifth in his first race since Darlington last year and his only race for the season.

Rounding out the top ten were Michael Annett in sixth, Chase Briscoe in seventh, Brandon Jones in eighth, Ross Chastain in ninth and Riley Herbst in tenth.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will return to Homestead-Miami Speedway tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. Eastern on Fox Sports 1.

Kevin Harvick took the checkered on Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. 

The first two stages belonged to Martin Truex Jr., who earned his first stage win of the year. Truex showed a ton of speed, but it was not enough to hold off Harvick in the final stage. 

The No. 4 Busch Light Ford led a total of 151 laps out of 325, including the closing 56 laps of stage three. This win marked Harvick's second win of the season and 51st victory of his NASCAR Cup Series career. 

Harvick's first career win came at Atlanta Motor Speedway 19 years ago and after crossing the start finish line, he held three fingers out the window while doing a parade lap for the fans. Today, he was able to do that again. 

“First (career) win came for me here at Atlanta and this is just a racetrack that I‘ve taken a liking to,” Harvick said. “You always have those memories and now you want to celebrate everything that Dale Earnhardt did for this sport. To come here and be able to do that with wins and go to victory lane is pretty special."

Kyle Busch passed Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, Martin Truex Jr. for second, followed by Ryan Blaney in fourth and Denny Hamlin to round out the top-five. 

The Cup Series returns for some weeknight action on Wednesday, June 10, at Martinsville Speedway for the Blue Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 on FS1 at 7 p.m.
