·         Thermo Scientific handheld XRF alloy analyzers allow users to:

o    Confidently identify alloy metal components

o    Instantly recover lost traceability

o    Quickly verify weld chemistry and dilution

·         Thermo Fisher Scientific partnership provides EGR with analytical equipment, which allows race engineers to test and analyze materials for building cars and components, for increased tracking and reliability.

·         Thermo Fisher Scientific’s three premier brands, Thermo Scientific, Fisher Scientific, and Unity™ Lab Services, offer a unique combination of innovative technologies, convenient purchasing options and a single solution for laboratory operations management.  Visit www.thermofisher.com for more information.

David Mercuro, Vertical Director, Manufacturing and Inspection, Thermo Scientific Portable Analytical Instruments:  “We are excited to be working with Earnhardt Ganassi Racing.  We know the potential for material mix-ups is very real, from the automotive assembly line to the race track and that the need for traceability is a priority.  Our nondestructive analyzers can provide EGR with that peace-of-mind.  Our analyzers take control of material verification, recovery of lost traceability and confirmation of finished products, all without damaging the samples in any way.”

Steve Lauletta, President, Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates:  “We are extremely enthused to announce this partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific.  The testing and diagnostic capabilities that they bring to our relationship will help us tremendously as we continuously strive to find ways to test and maintain equipment that is durable and reliable.”

Kyle Larson, Driver, No. 4 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series:  “To have Thermo Scientific on board with us for the race at Homestead-Miami is a tremendous opportunity.  I have really had a great time driving in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and after this team had such a strong run at Phoenix last weekend, I am really looking forward to getting to Miami.  I am often asked, what is your goal for the next race?  I always say that I want to be better than the last time.  Well, the last time I was in this truck we finished second-place at Phoenix, so hopefully we can be one spot better with Thermo Scientific in Miami!”
