Peck Motorsports Announce Driven to Move Program on World Arthritis Day

In celebration of World Arthritis Day, Peck Motorsports and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Todd Peck are announcing a new initiative to get people moving. The team, in collaboration with the Mid-Atlantic Arthritis Foundation, today announced the "Driven to Move" program to help bring additional awareness to the Foundation and those living with arthritis and chronic pain.

NASCAR driver Todd Peck knows first-hand what it's like to live with arthritis. Diagnosed with juvenile arthritis, Peck continues to live with arthritis pain today. However, he doesn't let that slow him down, on or off the track. He's consistently doing his part to be active in the community by participating in different arthritis events while at the same time racing his No. 96 Stopain Chevrolet in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

"If you live with arthritis or chronic pain, it's important to keep moving as much as possible," said Peck. "We're proud to work with the Mid-Atlantic Foundation to unveil our "Driven to Move" program to remind people how they can stay active. Hopefully a lot of people can join us and we can continue to spread the word about all the positive things the Arthritis Foundation does."

The Mid-Atlantic Foundation is also pleased to support Peck Motorsports and the "Driven to Move" program.

"Movement is one of the best medicines to help control arthritis pain and reduce further joint damage," said Lisa Mauti, vice president of communication, Arthritis Foundation, Mid-Atlantic Region. "Todd understands that on a very personal level and we're glad he is committed to driving arthritis awareness, especially on World Arthritis Day."

Fans are encouraged to join to the program by visiting the team's website at Once there, fans will find ways to donate to the Arthritis Foundation, grassroots advocacy opportunities and lists of Arthritis Walks and Jingle Bell Runs.
