Crafton, Lofton top practice charts

Matt Crafton set the pace in Friday night’s final NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice session prior to Saturday’s qualifying session and race, turning in a speed of 174.014 mph.

Joey Coulter was second-fastest at 173.527 mph, followed by Justin Lofton (173.116 mph), Todd Bodine (172.961 mph) and Nelson Piquet Jr. (172.938 mph).

Rounding out the top 10 were James Buescher (172.894 mph), Parker Kligerman(172.706 mph), Ty Dillon (172.678 mph), Jason Leffler (172.590 mph) and Ron Hornaday Jr. (172.073 mph).

Earlier in the day, Lofton paced the field in the first NCWTS practice session with a top speed of 174.132 mph.

Coulter was second fastest at 173.762 mph, followed by Leffler (173.433 mph), Cale Gale (173.010 mph) and Brendan Gaughan (172.900 mph).

Rounding out the top 10 were Crafton (172.491 mph), Buescher (172.315 mph), Miguel Paludo (172.068 mph), Timothy Peters (172.068) and Dillon (172.018 mph).
