“It was a hard-fought day for the No. 13 Tenda Ford F-150. It wasn’t the result we wanted but we overcame a lot today with a loose plug wire, and flat tire that resulted in a commitment line violation. So, coming out of Martinsville with a top-10 finish shows how hard our team worked all day and ultimately get some bonus points.”

“We had a really strong showing at Martinsville for the TaxSlayer team. We were one of the fastest trucks on track throughout the race. So I’m proud of my guys for bringing me a great Ford F-150. Overall, I had a lot of fun. I’ll be looking forward to when I can race another ThorSport truck soon!”

“The No. 88 Ideal Door/Menards Ford F-150 had a solid day at Martinsville and was able to leave with an eighth-place finish in spite of having to restart in the back for the beginning of Stage 2 due to a pit road penalty. Not the finish I would have liked, but on to Texas.”

“Overall, a long, tough day for us here at Martinsville. For whatever reason we didn’t fire off in qualifying or the beginning of the race. I don’t know if I just abused those tires, or if the truck just didn’t like that set of tires, or what – we just didn’t have speed at that point. Finally, when we were able to get that set of tires off, business picked up, but we lost all our track position by then. Ultimately, we were able to salvage a bad day here, and bring home an ok finish. Just disappointed with our performance today. I really felt like we had something to run up front with, and we really didn’t. Overall proud of the guys. Proud of the calls that Jeff Hensley made in the pits in order to salvage what we could out of the day.”

“I’m glad that we were able to get a solid finish and build some momentum for our season. Considering that we started 16th, the day went really well. The truck is fairly clean (not a lot of damage), and the crew is happy. We have something to build off of now and know how to be better to get the win.
