ESR and Skinner Sign Paytas Homes for Daytona truck race

Over the last week, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) veteran Mike Skinner has landed a ride for the season-opening race and the support of two local sponsors.  The former Daytona Beach resident announced that he would race for Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) at Daytona International Speedway after landing the support of American Auto last week, and has since signed Paytas Homes to support the No. 8 Chevrolet.

“I am proud to carry the name of Paytas Homes at my hometown track of Daytona,” commented Mike Skinner, driver of the No. 8 Chevrolet.  “This has been such a cool experience to see all of my friends come together and support my career.  My friends at Paytas Homes have the best value, reputation and quality home in the area.  With the support of great sponsors like these and a truck from ESR, hopefully we can put on a good show.”

Paytas Homes owner, Jim Paytas is a second-generation builder and a lifelong resident of the Daytona Beach Area.  As a longtime friend of the 1995 NCWTS Champion, Paytas also backed Skinner for two races during the 2011 season.

“Paytas Homes is excited to support Mike Skinner and the ESR team,” commented Jim Paytas, president/owner of Paytas Homes.  “Our name is recognized in the Daytona area as one of the best in the business and teaming up with Skinner and ESR fits within our brand of striving for excellence.  We certainly expect to be running up front with considering the efforts Eddie and the team have coordinated for this race.”

Fans in the Daytona Beach, Fla. area are invited to come to meet Mike Skinner on Tuesday, February 21st from 2:00-3:00 p.m. EST at the Promenade Parke in New Smyrna Beach, Fla.  In addition to getting an autograph and photo with Skinner, fans will be able to register to win a pair of tickets to the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, February 24th.  The event will take place at a Paytas Homes-built community and model center at 554 Luna Bella Lane, New Smyrna Beach.  The winner of the NextEra Energy Resources 250 tickets must be present to claim their prize.
