Forrister has 29 starts in the NCWTS, including piloting the No. 5 Wauters Motorsports entry at Talladega Superspeedway in October 2016.  This will be Forrister’s second NCWTS start on the famed 2.5-mile Daytona, FL track; his first was in 2015 where he posted a 12th place finish.

“I’m really excited to be running a full season with Richie (Wauters) this year,” Korbin Forrister said.  “Richie and I developed a strong bond running together last year in some super late model races and it even got stronger after our run together at Talladega.  Our communication level is really good and I am looking forward to having a successful year together.  This team always builds top-notch equipment and I know we have an amazing Advanced Medical Laboratories Toyota Tundra for Daytona.”

“We are looking forward to running with Korbin (Forrister) for the full season,” Team owner, Richie Wauters explained.  “We really had a good run going at Talladega until he was a victim of circumstance of plate racing. We put that behind us and are focused on a solid 2017 season with Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing engines.  I want to send a big thank you to Paul and Lourdes Schloss with Advanced Medical Laboratories for coming on board with us!”

All Secure Document Disposal Company, Billy Ballew Motorsports LLC. Daytona Beach & Blairsville, GA, DJ Flint, ReMed, TwinMed, and Woodard Pools in Waycross, GA will serve as associate sponsors on the No. 5 Toyota Tundra.

The NextEra Energy Resources 250 is slated to begin Friday, February 24th at 7:30pm.  Live coverage begins at 7:00pm on Fox Sports 1, MRN Radio and Sirius XM NASCAR Channel 90.
