Ryan Ellis will team with MB Motorsports and Theme Park Connection for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race this Saturday at Talladega Superspeedway.
This will mark Ellis’s 25th career Truck Series start, second at Talladega, and first behind the wheel of the No. 63 Chevrolet Silverado. The 26-year-old Fairfax, Va. driver holds a career-best finish of 16th at Daytona, a track similar in size and length to the 2.66-mile Superspeedway in Alabama.
It will be his first time driving a truck adorned by Theme Park Connection, the worldwide leader in Disney collectibles and entertainment memorabilia that now features NASCAR memorabilia.
“Talladega puts on one of the most exciting Truck Series races of the year, so I’m grateful to Theme Park Connection for allowing me to take part,” said Ellis. “Mike Mittler is a respected owner in this garage, and he has trucks capable of getting good finishes in the plate races. That’s our goal this weekend.”
The Fred’s 250 Powered by Coca-Cola begins at 1 pm Eastern on Saturday. The race will be televised live on FOX.
