Quiroga Set to Return to KBM’s No. 51 Tundra for Truck Series Finale

Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) announced today that three-time reigning NASCAR Mexico Series Champion Germán Quiroga will make his second career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start in the 2011 series finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway Friday, Nov. 18. Quiroga, who finished 17th in his Truck Series debut at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in September, will be back behind the wheel of KBM’s No. 51 Toyota Tundra with Telcel, the leading provider of wireless communications services in Mexico, returning as the primary sponsor.

With one race remaining on the 2011 NASCAR Mexico Series schedule, the 31-year-old driver has already clinched his third consecutive NASCAR Mexico Series championship. In 13 starts this season, the Mexico City native has collected three wins, two poles and 10 top fives. Prior to winning three consecutive titles, Quiroga finished second in points in 2007 and 2008.

Quiroga’s 17 career wins rank second on the all-time NASCAR Mexico Series list behind Rogelio Lopez’s 20. Over 94 career starts, he has captured eight poles, 61 top fives and 74 top 10s.
