The experienced Mexican driver Carlos Contreras, is back on the tracks of NASCAR to compete tonight in the Contreras Motorsports truck team of which he is co-owner, in the Rattlesnake 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.
This will be the third race of the season in which Carlos is at the wheel of the Chevy Silverado #71 and represent the first in which combine his function of Director of Racing Operations of the team with his role as driver.
Tonight’s race represents a special time for the team as it comes to an event in one of the regions that has greater presence of Hispanic fans in the country, so it will be a motivation for Carlos and the entire team.
The main objective of this night is to continue with the team development, gain experience in tuning the truck in different types of tracks and score points for the Championship.
