CTS: William Sawalich wins Loves RV Stop 225 pole at Talladega Superspeedway

Birthday boy William Sawalich who just turned 18 years old yesterday allowing him to run at Talladega took the pole with a time of 54.482 at 175.764 mph for his first NASCAR Truck Series pole in just over a dozen attempts in the series over Ben Rhodes time of 54.815 seconds at 175.648 mph.

The first playoff driver Ty Majeski lines up third with a time of 54.539 seconds followed by Enfinger and Taylor Gray.

Remaining playoff drivers of Ankrum will start from the 7^th spot, Heim the last in the top-10 lining up 9^th, Sanchez 11^th, Caruth 13^th and the last of the playoff drivers, Christian Eckes in 15^th.

Timmy Hill and Keith McGee were the only two trucks to DNQ.

The Loves RV Stop 225 is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET on FS1 with stages ending on lap 20, 40 and 85.
