CTS: Christian Eckes wins 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Regular Season Championship

It took one stage at Richmond Raceway after Christian Eckes would win the pole earlier in the day for the Clean Harbors 250 only to battle with Ty Majeski early in the first stage.

Majeski would take the lead before a caution would come out allowing the No. 19 machine to take on new tires under the first caution of the night.

Eckes would take it three wide for the lead on the restart leading the final seven laps of the first stage to take home the opening stage win.

With the stage win Eckes would have enough points to take the regular season championship over Corey Heim who the pair have battled with throughout the regular season.

Eckes three wins, 14 top 10s and nine top-five finishes with an average finish of 6.2 through the regular season.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series opens the first round of the playoffs in two weeks at The Milwaukee Mile.
