Tyler Young looking to harvest another solid run in Iowa

Racing to his third consecutive top-15 finish of the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season in last Saturday’s Drivin’ for Linemen 200 at Gateway (Ill.) Motorsports Park, Tyler Young, driver of the No. 02 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado, wants to keep the successful streak alive when he returns to Iowa Speedway in Newton for Friday night’s American Ethanol 200 presented by Enogen.

Returning to the Midwestern track for the third time in his young NCWTS career, Young has completed 98% of the laps attempted at the 7/8-mile tri-oval, with a best finish of 17th (2014). In a state that produces a tenth of the nation’s food supply and ranks third as the most productive agriculture state, Young hopes to continue his string of solid runs and harvest another strong finish in his third start at Iowa Speedway on Friday night.

Sounding Off – Tyler Young:

“It’s a great feeling heading into Iowa knowing we have momentum on our side. It gives me a bit of extra confidence knowing how well we’re running. We got our first top-10 finish a few weeks ago at Dover, and that was huge for our team. Obviously I’d love to keep the momentum going and get another top-10 finish this weekend at Iowa. I’ve been to Iowa twice and run pretty decent, but there is room for improvement. I’m hoping we can improve on previous runs this trip, just like we’ve been doing all season.”
