Bully Hill Vineyards to Sponsor Nemechek in Fred's 250 at Talladega
NEMCO Motorsports announced today that its No. 8 Toyota Tundra driven by Joe Nemechek will be sponsored by Bully Hill Vineyards for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, October 18, 2014.
NEMCO Motorsports, which is operated by Nemechek and his family, has been active in NASCAR for nearly 25 years and boasts 25 wins on the NASCAR circuit. Today, father Joe and son, John Hunter, represent the team on the track racing in all three of NASCAR's national series and have shared driving duties in the No. 8 Tundra this season.
While this will be the first time Joe Nemechek will carry the colors of Bully Hill Vineyards, the partnership between NEMCO Motorsports and the Hammondsport, NY winery carries a rich racing history that dates back 15 years. From 1999-2001, the duo collected a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, two NASCAR Nationwide Series
wins and a runner-up finish in a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race with driver Ron Fellows at Watkins Glen International. Coupled with Nemechek's penchant for drafting and past successes at Talladega Superspeedway, the time is right for a return to victory lane.
"We're excited to be working with Bully Hill Vineyards again and we like our chances this weekend," said Nemechek. "We've been knocking on the door this season with top-five's and solid runs and we feel confident that the win is right around the corner. I think you'll see the same guys up front who are strong in this series every week but anything can happen in the draft so the plan is to stay out in front and out of trouble. We've had a lot of success when we've had Bully Hill Vineyards on our race cars and trucks and we're ready to take them to victory lane again."
"Bully Hill Vineyards is proud to partner with Joe Nemechek and NEMCO Motorsports for the Fred's 250 at Talladega Superspeedway," said Sean King, Marketing Director of Bully Hill Vineyards. "We have been working with Joe for over 15 years and this partnership demonstrates our commitment to motorsports and the racing community. We wish the No. 8 team the best of luck."
