Jeb Burton NCWTS Preview: Homestead-Miami Speedway

It All Comes Down to This…For its 2013 season finale, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) will head to Homestead-Miami Speedway for a night of racing under the lights in the Sunshine State. The 21-year-old Sunoco Rookie of the Year candidate will make his final track debut of the year in the Ford EcoBoost 200 with hopes of keeping his top-five spot in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings.

This Week’s Silverado…The No. 4 Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) team will unload chassis TSM-605 this weekend in Homestead. The brand-new, new-generation chassis made its track debut two weeks ago at Texas Motor Speedway where it landed Burton his seventh pole award of the season.

A Must-See…You won’t want to miss the NCWTS grand finale. The Ford EcoBoost 200 can be seen live on Friday, November 15 beginning at 7:30 p.m. EST on FOX Sports 1. The race can also be heard live on MRN Radio and SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race RecapIn his track debut at Phoenix International Raceway, Burton showed improvement as he learned the ins and outs of the track, but trouble in his qualifying effort left the 21-year-old rookie in the 24th position for the start of the Lucas Oil 150. After a final caution left the field with a 10-lap race to the finish line, Burton and two competitors went three-wide, causing the No. 4 truck to drop track position and end the night in 11th place as the checkered flag waved.

Jeb Burton on Racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway:

“I’m looking forward to racing at Homestead this weekend. I know I’m at a disadvantage since several teams got to test there, but my team has had success at unfamiliar tracks before and I’m hoping that will be the case on Friday. I’m just thankful I’ve had the opportunity to race for Turner Scott Motorsports and represent Arrowhead this year, and I look forward to contending for the Truck Series championship in 2014. This No. 4 team will be back and ready to go in Daytona.”
