Accell Construction Returns to Tommy Baldwin Racing

Accell Construction will return to the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS). David Reutimann will pilot the Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) entry in the Kobalt Tools 400 Sunday, March 11th.

Accell Construction, an Oklahoma-based company, sponsored the No. 10 Chevrolet at Phoenix International Raceway last weekend. Following the event, Accell Construction saw a spike in their bids for business. Seeing the return so quickly, the full-service civil contacting company decided to come back on board the No. 10 this weekend in Vegas.

The 20-year-old company also sponsored the TBR No. 36 Chevrolet for six primary events, as well as associate races, last season. Accell Construction, a full-service site civil contractor for the petroleum terminal and bulk storage industries, specializes in tank farm construction, tank foundations and other related site civil construction.

“We received a lot of telephone traffic and closed a deal from the exposure we received last week,” explained owner Steve Todhunter. “We were very pleased with the partnership in Phoenix as we were last season. Plus, David had such a good run before the motor blew in Phoenix that we had to come back on board at Vegas. We’re excited to see how the team does this weekend.”

Reutimann drove the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet at Phoenix International Raceway in his TBR debut. The Zephyrhills, Fla., native drove in the top-25 throughout majority of the 312-mile race before an engine failure ended the team’s day early.

“Steve and Accell have always been a good partner for us,” Tommy Baldwin commented. “He has had a lot of success with being involved in racing. We were thrilled to hear he received a good response from Phoenix and are excited for him to come back on board at Vegas.”

Reutimann will get behind the wheel of the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet for practice and qualifying on Friday, March 9th. The TBR team will compete in the 400-mile race on Sunday, March 11th.
