Previewing the 2018 Monster Energy Cup Series Season

With the banquet ending Thursday night, all attention now moves for Daytona as we are only 2 months away from the beginning of the 2018 season. Many faces will be in new rides when we head to Daytona for SpeedWeeks in February. Below are a list of drivers heading to new rides for the upcoming 2018 season.

When the garage opens in February many faces will be in new places. Hendrick Motorsports will have two new drivers, William Byron going to the iconic 24, and Alex Bowman taking over Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s number 88.

Penske Racing adding a third car #12 will be fielded by rising star Ryan Blaney.

Erik Jones will drive the number 20 for Joe Gibbs Racing which was formally drove by former NASCAR driver, Matt Kenseth.

Paul Menard will take over the number 21 for Wood Brothers Racing, previously drove by Ryan Blaney.

Aric Almirola will drive the number 10 for Stewart-Haas Racing, replacing Danica Patrick.

Kasey Kahne will drive the number 95 for Levine Family Racing, replacing Michael McDowell.

What driver are you most looking forward to seeing with his new team?
