David Ragan will be behind the wheel of the MHP Power Pak Pudding car (#34) this Saturday night (Feb. 18) when the 2012 NASCAR racing series kicks off with the Budweiser Shootout at Daytona International Speedway. Ragan will be racing for the checkered flag against more than 20 of the top NASCAR drivers in the 34th running of the Shootout.
Ragan qualified for the Shootout by winning the Coke Zero 400 at the Daytona track last July. He is driving for the Front Row Motorsports team this year.
“We are very excited about David’s chances at the Bud Shootout on Saturday,” said Gerard Dente, CEO of MHP. “He has had a good history at the track and the car is running great. We can’t wait to see the Power Pak Pudding car on the track on national TV! And how cool would it be to see David Ragan in a double biceps pose in the winner’s circle?”
The race will air on FOX, with the start scheduled for 8:29 pm. Tune into your local FOX affiliate to catch all the action.
