BK Racing announces reorganization of Marketing and Public Relations departments

BK Racing announced today that the team’s Marketing and Public Relations Departments will be reorganizing as it builds on the momentum from record sponsorships in 2016.

Dalana Parker will be promoted to the role of Director of Sponsor Services and Public Relations. Prior to joining BK Racing in May of 2016, Parker served as a PR Manager for NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR K&N Series teams. “It has been an unbelievable season with BK Racing,” says Parker. “I have had the pleasure of working with so many great sponsors this year, many of whom were completely new to NASCAR. I am looking forward to continued growth in 2017 and seeing BK Racing succeed on and off the race track.”

LeeAnn Egolf will expand her role with the race team and will become BK Racing’s Director of Marketing and Licensing. As part of her added responsibilities, Egolf will oversee the team’s NASCAR Team Properties Management including apparel, trackside, retail, trading cards, video games, diecasts, and toy categories. Egolf will continue to direct BK Racing’s sponsorship portfolio strategy including activation management and valuation analytics. Egolf has over 14 years of experience in Marketing and Strategy Development, and has been an integral part of the Sales and Marketing team at BK Racing for over 3 years.

Taking on a new role is Richard Claveloux, BK Racing’s new Director of Creative Services. Claveloux will be responsible for working with sponsors to design everything seen at the racetrack, from the designs on the race cars and haulers to the signage on the pit boxes and pit wall. Claveloux will continue his in-season responsibility as a front tire carrier on the BK Racing pit crew.

BK Racing will also be adding a Manager of Partnership Sales who will be responsible for new sponsorship business development.

Spearheading the reorganization is BK Racing CMO, Doug Fritz. Since joining the team at the beginning of the 2016 season, Fritz and BK Racing have seen an abundance of new sponsors join the team, all of whom are planning to return for the 2017 season. “This reorganization is driven by the expansion of our existing sponsorship relationships and the influx of new sponsors, such as sweetFrog, E. J. Wade Construction, BUBBA burger, Starter and others,” says Fritz. “These organizational changes will help us better meet the ever-changing activation plans of our sponsors, including their social and digital platforms.  This will also strategically align our team with our diverse lineup of sponsors so we can continue to provide the highest level of service for all of our partners in the future.”
