Busch Light: This weekend in Phoenix, Ross Chastain will be bringing Busch Light’s ‘Iconic’ paint scheme to “The Desert Oddball.” The ‘Iconic’ paint scheme is set to add a vibrant mountain landscape to the foothills of the Estrella Mountains. The No. 1 car reads “Race For The Mountains” and Chastain, once again, will be looking to get there first, leading the pack in the recognizable Busch Light blue and white design fans know and love.
Meet Chastain: On Sunday, Chastain will appear at The Barn at Phoenix Raceway at 9:30 a.m. local time, followed by a Chevy Stage appearance at 9:45 a.m. local time in the Phoenix fan midway.

At one point, Chastain fell one lap down after a green-flag pit stop but was able to race his back on to the lead lap with a solid handling Chevrolet. He eventually finished eighth, scoring his third top-10 at the track since driving the No. 1 for Trackhouse Racing.

Suárez Quotes:
What are your thoughts on your 2024 season?
“Unless you win the championship you aren’t going to be satisfied. So we aren’t happy with how it went but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have some good moments. We are proud of winning Atlanta, running well, and advancing in the playoffs. But until we come to Phoenix as part of the four drivers battling for the title, we won’t be totally happy. We have a lot of work to do in this off-season. We will take some time to rest, work hard and improve then be ready for 2025.”
